After losing her husband Len to suicide in March 2022, Leanne is using her voice for good and speaking up. Every community needs an environment that acknowledges mental health BEFORE an individual reaches crisis.
Project Mental Wellness has a dedicated team that continues to work toward creating an environment that supports proactive projects for suicide and mental health awareness. Our team embodies local business owners, critical care nurse, mental health and crisis nurse, teacher, lawyer and child and youth worker.
Project Mental Wellness believes that mental health is just as important as physical health and should be prioritized in all aspects of life. Our goal is to break down the stigma surrounding mental health by providing education, support and access to resources for those who need it. We are committed to fostering a
community where mental health is openly discussed and individuals are empowered to seek help without fear of judgement or discrimination.
