An interactive talk about how and why the digestive system has major impacts on our mood and mental health. Indigestion, bloating, constipation and heart burn are all helpful clues from the complex orchestra we call digestion. Anxiety, depression and behaviour disorders can be related to some aspect of gut health in most cases. Come learn about how our gut health and microbiome can influence our neurotransmitters (mood messengers) and mental health. Common testing and assessment options will also be discussed such as: autonomic nervous system tone, food sensitivity testing, food intolerance testing, therapeutic diets and microbiome mapping. Based on a root cause health creation model this talk will give you new ideas on how to create a healthy digestive system versus masking symptoms.
